Knezino

Knezino is a village in the Kicevo municipality of Macedonia. Knezino original name (with diacritics) is Knežino. Knezino distance is 3.59 km / 2.23 mi away from the center of the municipality.

Within Knezino is located Krushino. Krushino a recreation center, its role had well perform in these years.  Lungs of Kicevo gives you the best mix oxygen mixed with the smell of wood. This forest half a century ago was stripped, today is one of the most beautiful evergreen forests in Macedonia. Often Krushino was visited by professional athletes, to those who their free times had used in this natural beauty.

The monastery complex "St. George" 

The monastery complex "St. George" known as Knezhinski monastery, located west of the city Kicevo, near the village Knezino the slopes of the Bistra Mountain, at an altitude of over 900 meters. The area is rich in vegetation, with beech and oak forest. Some of the trees are several centuries old. The monastery courtyard is flowing through the tap spring water, which sees people for healing.
Today the monastery is an archeological site. Knezhinskiot manastir "St. George" the monastery "St. Bogorica Precista" in the past and today are important monuments in the Macedonian spiritual and historical treasures. 

House of Art

A.D.Tajmiste – Kicevo is owner of the object”Art of house” wich is 6 km. far away from centre of Kicevo. Located at mountain Bistra, near monastery st.Gjorgija at 960 altitude,environed with dense and chestnut forest. Every year A.D.Tajmiste is patron of International Art Colony – Kicevo, which maintaining 16 times in succession.

Travel with a bus

If you considering to go with a bus you have a several of buses between Kicevo and Skopje. Time travel is from 1 hour and half to 2 hours and half,  depends on, if bus is on direct line or not. Price for one way ticket is 330 denars/5 EUR and two way tickets is 500 denars/ 8 EUR. Then you have to call a local taxi to Village Knezino.

Time of departure from Skopje: 05:30, 06:00, 08:00, 10:00, 12:30, 13:15, 14:00, 14:30, 14:45, 15:30, 15:45, 16:00, 16:30, 17:30, 18:30.

Travel by train

If you like to travel to Kicevo by train the time travel is 2 hours. Price for one way ticket is 210 denars / 3.4 EUR and price for two ways ticket is 332 denars / 5.4 EUR. Then you have to call a local taxi to Village Knezino.

Travel with taxi

If you are not comfortable to travel by train or bus, you can always get a taxi. The price for one way is more or less 3100 denars / 50.5 EUR.

If you'd like to explore the land during your travel you can go with a car or rent a car. Distance from Distance between Skopje and Kicevo is 110 km, and from Kicevo Municipality to Knezino is 4 km.
